- אוּשְׁפִּיזְכָןm. (Denom. of אושפיז = אושפיזך, with locat. ך, cmp. דָּא, דֵּךְ) innkeeper, landlord, host. Meg.26a; Yoma 12a; Sot.37a; Zeb.54a נעשה א׳וכ׳ Benjamin became the host of the Divine Presence (the Temple being partly situated in his territory).
